Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of land adjoining a railway shall apply to the Divisional Railway Manager in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Divisional Railway Manager shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
