Surrender of certificate.—Every tenant who ceases to carry on the cultivation of land as tenant shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Revenue Divisional Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 1 of the manner in which every register of holdings held by him has been disposed of.
