Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the occupier of land used for manoeuvres shall apply to the Commanding Officer of the Unit in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Commanding Officer of the Unit shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
