Removal of difficulty.—Where a dealer in arms and ammunition had, before the commencement of the Police Forces (Restriction of Rights) Act, 1966, carried on the sale of arms and ammunition under a licence granted under the law then in force, such licence shall be deemed to have been granted under the Act and shall remain in force for seven days from such commencement or until it expires, whichever is earlier.
