Removal of difficulty.—Where a principal employer had, before the commencement of the national Rural Employment Guarantee(Extension to Jammu And Kashmir) Act, 2007, carried on the engagement of contract labour under a licence granted under the law then in force, such licence shall be deemed to have been granted under the Act and shall remain in force for fifteen days from such commencement or until it expires, whichever is earlier.
