Clause 2, Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Oaths and Fees) (Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2017 [S30-GDQ]

Removal of difficulty.—Where a process server had, before the commencement of the Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Oaths and Fees) Act, 1948, carried on the service of process under a licence granted under the law then in force, such licence shall be deemed to have been granted under the Act and shall remain in force for thirty days from such commencement or until it expires, whichever is earlier.
