2. Amendment of section 15.—In section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017 (Tamil Nadu Act 42 of 2017) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "fifty lakh rupees", the words "ten lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
