2. Amendment of section 24.—In section 24 of the Maharashtra Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2017 (Maharashtra Act 61 of 2017) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "one thousand rupees", the words "twenty-five thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
