2. Amendment of section 12.—In section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 1982) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "one lakh rupees", the words "one lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
