2. Amendment of section 20.—In section 20 of the Karnataka Ground Water (Regulation and Control of Development and Management) Act, 2011 (Karnataka Act 25 of 2011) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "one thousand rupees", the words "fifty thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
