2. Amendment of section 17.—In section 17 of the Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act, 2013 (Maharashtra Act 30 of 2013) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "five thousand rupees", the words "one lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
