2. Amendment of section 13.—In section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Reservation of Seats) Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Act 45 of 1994) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "nil rupees", the words "five lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
