2. Amendment of section 18.—In section 18 of the Karnataka Slum Areas (Improvement and Clearance) Act, 1973 (Karnataka Act 33 of 1973) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "ninety days", the words "thirty days" shall be substituted.
