2. Amendment of section 38.—In section 38 of the Maharashtra Irrigation Act, 1976 (Maharashtra Act 38 of 1976) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "fifty thousand rupees", the words "two lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
