2. Amendment of section 34.—In section 34 of the Kerala Ground Water (Control and Regulation) Act, 2002 (Kerala Act 19 of 2002) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "fifty thousand rupees", the words "two lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
