2. Amendment of section 10.—In section 10 of the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1962 (Karnataka Act 8 of 1962) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "twenty thousand rupees", the words "fifty thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
