2. Amendment of section 39.—In section 39 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "twenty-five crore rupees", the words "twenty-five crore rupees" shall be substituted.
