2. Amendment of section 36.—In section 36 of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999 (Maharashtra Act 30 of 1999) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "ten thousand rupees", the words "fifty thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
