Section 4, Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2008 [S2M-KMD]

4. Registration of holders of land.—(1) Every holder of land shall, within ninety days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the holding of land after such commencement, within thirty days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Collector in Form 7, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees. (2) The Collector shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No holder of land shall carry on the holding of land unless registered under this section.
