2. Amendment of section 41.—In section 41 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "thirty days", the words "forty-five days" shall be substituted.
