2. Amendment of section 28.—In section 28 of the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986 (Uttar Pradesh Act 7 of 1986) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "five hundred rupees", the words "fifty thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
