13. Procedure for the construction of buildings in a cantonment.—(1) Every owner of land within a cantonment shall, before undertaking the construction of buildings in a cantonment, intimate the Director-General in writing, specifying the building concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The Director-General may, within seven days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
