Section 18, Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999 [S2K-CRV]

18. Registration of public officers.—(1) Every public officer shall, within six months from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the receipt of instruments in evidence after such commencement, within six months from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Collector in Form A, accompanied by a fee of five rupees. (2) The Collector shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No public officer shall carry on the receipt of instruments in evidence unless registered under this section.
