Section 25, Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999 [S2K-CZN]

25. Registration of depositories.—(1) Every depository shall, within one month from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the holding of securities in dematerialised form after such commencement, within one month from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Collector in Form B, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees. (2) The Collector shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No depository shall carry on the holding of securities in dematerialised form unless registered under this section.
