2. Amendment of section 34.—In section 34 of the Tamil Nadu Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1966 (Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 1966) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "one lakh rupees", the words "five lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
