2. Amendment of section 24.—In section 24 of the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973 (Puducherry Act 9 of 1973) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "five hundred rupees", the words "ten thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
