2. Amendment of section 8.—In section 8 of the Kerala Land Reforms Act, 1964 (Kerala Act 1 of 1964) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "fifty thousand rupees", the words "one lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
