2. Amendment of section 28.—In section 28 of the Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1961 (Tamil Nadu Act 58 of 1961) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "five hundred rupees", the words "ten thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
