Rule 2, Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act Rules, 1989 [S2J-J1K]

2. Definitions.—(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988 (Andhra Pradesh Act 10 of 1988); (b) "Form" means a form appended to these rules; (c) "section" means a section of the Act. (2) Words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
