2. Amendment of section 10.—In section 10 of the Kerala Land Assignment Act, 1960 (Kerala Act 30 of 1960) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "ten thousand rupees", the words "fifty thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
