2. Amendment of section 17.—In section 17 of the Maharashtra Apartment Ownership Act, 1970 (Maharashtra Act 15 of 1970) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "one lakh rupees", the words "ten lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
