2. Amendment of section 27.—In section 27 of the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954 (Uttar Pradesh Act 24 of 1954) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "ten thousand rupees", the words "five thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
