2. Amendment of section 26.—In section 26 of the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1962 (Karnataka Act 10 of 1962) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "fifty thousand rupees", the words "one lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
