12. Procedure for the disposal of requests.—(1) Every Public Information Officer shall, before undertaking the disposal of requests, intimate the Competent Authority in writing, specifying the request concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The Competent Authority may, within ninety days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
