10. Procedure for the hearing of appeals.—(1) Every appellate authority shall, before undertaking the hearing of appeals, intimate the Competent Authority in writing, specifying the appeal concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The Competent Authority may, within thirty days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
