2. Amendment of section 6.—In section 6 of the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1962 (Karnataka Act 8 of 1962) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "one hundred rupees", the words "two thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
