2. Amendment of section 13.—In section 13 of the Karnataka Money Lenders Act, 1961 (Karnataka Act 12 of 1961) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "two hundred and fifty rupees", the words "two thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
