2. Amendment of section 36.—In section 36 of the Punjab Security of Land Tenures Act, 1953 (Punjab Act 10 of 1953) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "five hundred rupees", the words "ten thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
