2. Amendment of section 8.—In section 8 of the Karnataka Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1962 (Karnataka Act 7 of 1962) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "sixty days", the words "ninety days" shall be substituted.
