Section 4, Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969 [S2G-VDT]

4. Registration of producers.—(1) Every producer shall, within fifteen days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the production of agricultural produce after such commencement, within fifteen days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Registrar in Form B, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees. (2) The Registrar shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No producer shall carry on the production of agricultural produce unless registered under this section.
