10. Procedure for the possession of excisable articles.—(1) Every person in possession shall, before undertaking the possession of excisable articles, intimate the Commissioner in writing, specifying the premises concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The Commissioner may, within seven days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
