10. Procedure for the occupation of land near a monument.—(1) Every occupier of land near a monument shall, before undertaking the occupation of land near a monument, intimate the Director General in writing, specifying the permission concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The Director General may, within thirty days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
