Section 2, Kerala Stamp Act, 1959 [S2F-8M8]

2. Definitions.—In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Collector" means the Collector of a district and includes any officer whom the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf; (b) "notification" means a notification published in the Official Gazette, and the expression "notified" shall be construed accordingly; (c) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act.
