Section 18, Bombay Money-Lenders Act, 1946 [S2D-ZXW]

18. Registration of carriers.—(1) Every carrier shall, within ninety days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the carriage of goods after such commencement, within ninety days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Registrar in Form A, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees. (2) The Registrar shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No carrier shall carry on the carriage of goods unless registered under this section.
