13. Procedure for the keeping of a lodging house.—(1) Every proprietor of a lodging house shall, before undertaking the keeping of a lodging house, intimate the District Magistrate in writing, specifying the weapon concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The District Magistrate may, within seven days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
