2. Amendment of section 8.—In section 8 of the Bombay Prevention of Gambling Act, 1887 (Maharashtra Act 4 of 1887) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "ten thousand rupees", the words "ten lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
