2. Amendment of section 38.—In section 38 of the Uttar Pradesh Excise Act, 1910 (Uttar Pradesh Act 4 of 1910) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "two lakh rupees", the words "ten lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
