2. Amendment of section 13.—In section 13 of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, 1888 (Maharashtra Act 3 of 1888) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "five thousand rupees", the words "five lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
