12. Procedure for participation in competitions.—(1) Every athlete shall, before undertaking participation in competitions, intimate the National Sports Board in writing, specifying the competition concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The National Sports Board may, within ninety days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
