32. Registration of athletes.—(1) Every athlete shall, within thirty days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins participation in competitions after such commencement, within thirty days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the National Sports Board in Form C, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees. (2) The National Sports Board shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No athlete shall carry on participation in competitions unless registered under this section.
